06/05 SSO: the construction starts
Today at noon, when the sun was crossing the local meridian, equipped with tools left by a construction company, we have marked the NS and EW exes as well as a few other points defining the footing's position on the rock here at SSO. We got to know that it feels like to drill in this hard, volcanic rock. Next week construction workers should begin drilling holes for the anchoring of the footings.
